Light art festival GLOW in town

Some forty artists offer light and light projections to the audience a surprising new look at the city. At GLOW NEXT, experiments are discussed in new projects that see the light for the first time. Eindhoven is a pioneering city and breeding ground for talent in the creative, artistic and technical fields and GLOW NEXT shows that. GLOW is accessible free of charge and attracted no less than 730,000 visitors last year.

There are two routes in Eindhoven, namely Glow Tour and Glow Next. This Glow Tour is Glow’s largest and most famous route and crosses the Eindhoven city center. Glow Next is a route that is not connected to the Glow Tour in the Eindhoven city center. Glow Next is more experimental in nature than the main route. Glow Next is also interactive, various light shows react directly to the influences of visitors. Glow Next is organized at Strijp-S, an old Philips complex in the Strijp district.

It is possible to walk the route under the guidance of a guide. The guide provides information about the city of Eindhoven, architecture and light art. For adults, a guided tour costs € 10, -. For children this costs € 8, -. Possibly it is possible to participate in a group. The starting point is at the Natlab, which is located at the Kastanjelaan 500.
